AirAdvisor Review 2026: Fees, Court Costs, Owner and a Record Score of 64

By Richard J. · written from ValenciaRecord score 64/100Verified 26 September 2026

AirAdvisor scores 64/100 as a claim company record: the Delaware and Kraków firm charges a flat 30% including VAT before court and 50% once external lawyers act, with no VAT position stated for that figure, and its terms promise to cover any court cost itself, but it names no owner beyond its founder and gives no basis for its 98% success rate. This record covers the company behind the claim: who runs it, what it takes from an award at each stage, what its terms say if a claim fails, its reviews and the gaps. Our EU261 trust index and fees comparison linked below rank the claim companies side by side; this page records one of them in full.

How AirAdvisor scores: 64 out of 100

AirAdvisor scores 64 out of 100: full marks for passenger protection in its terms, held back by a 50% court fee with no VAT position stated and a success rate with no stated basis. That is fourth of the ten claim companies scored on this rubric, four points above the trust index's pass mark of 60. The trust index gave AirAdvisor the same 64 on 24 September and ranked it third of five, though it names the Polish company "Air Advisor Ltd", which this record corrects to Air Advisor sp. z o.o. The four-way comparison ranks AirAdvisor second at 83 out of 100 because it scores value for a typical claim; this record scores the full 50% court fee, since AirAdvisor states no VAT position for it either way.

How the score works (100 points). Fee, settled claim 15: the all-in share of a EUR 600 award, VAT included, when the airline pays without court (20% or less scores 15, falling 3 points for each further 5 percentage points, 0 above 40%) · Fee, court claim 15: the all-in share once any legal surcharge is added (25% or less 15, down to 3 at 50%, 0 above 50% or unpublished) · Success rate as published 15: a number, what it measures, and an average time to payout · Passenger protection in the terms 25: nothing to pay if the claim fails, court costs included; what you owe if you withdraw or the airline pays you directly; a payout deadline in days; payout method and charges; dated or versioned terms · Ownership and transparency 15: legal entity and country, owner or group, registration number · Independent reputation 15: Trustpilot rating and review count on the read date. This is the rubric our EU261 claim company trust index published on 24 September 2026, applied unchanged, so a record and the index give the same number on the same evidence. Scores are ours; the inputs are linked. For claim companies, fixed before any was re-read: a fee quoted as a range is scored at the top of the range, the home country's VAT is added where a fee is quoted without it, and products other than the standard no win, no fee service, such as instant payouts, are reported but not scored.

AirAdvisor publishes a flat, VAT-inclusive fee for a settled claim, a minimum fee for small awards, a 30-day payout deadline and a promise to cover court costs itself if a case goes to litigation. It does not publish a VAT position on its 50% litigation fee, a date on its price list, an owner beyond its founder, or a stated basis for its 98% success rate.

Who owns AirAdvisor?

AirAdvisor operates through two registered entities in Delaware and Kraków, and names no owner beyond its founder and chief executive.

Its imprint lists AirAdvisor International Inc., registered in Delaware, USA, and Air Advisor sp. z o.o., registered in Kraków, Poland; neither page names a parent, shareholder or owner. Its about page names Anton Radchenko as founder and chief executive, described as a licensed US attorney and a member of the American Bar Association with more than 15 years in air passenger rights and aviation law. AirAdvisor names no legal services or debt collection registration for itself; it says its case handling lawyers are affiliated with the Association of European Attorneys, ILA Canada and the American Bar Association, which describes its outside counsel, not AirAdvisor's own registration.

How much does AirAdvisor charge?

AirAdvisor charges 30% of a settled award including VAT, and 50% once external lawyers are needed, with no VAT position stated for that figure. Worked from its price list on 26 September 2026, which carries no date of its own.

AwardFee at 30%, before courtFee at 50%, with external lawyers
EUR 250EUR 75.00, you keep EUR 175.00EUR 125.00, you keep EUR 125.00
EUR 400EUR 120.00, you keep EUR 280.00EUR 200.00, you keep EUR 200.00
EUR 600EUR 180.00, you keep EUR 420.00EUR 300.00, you keep EUR 300.00

Every pre-trial figure includes VAT, as AirAdvisor states; the 50% court figure carries no VAT wording, so it is reported as printed, with no VAT added. A minimum fee of EUR 90 applies below a EUR 225 award. How its fees compare with ten rivals, on the same EUR 600 award, is in the claim company fees comparison; what a claim is worth before any fee is set out in the EU261 compensation calculator.

What AirAdvisor's terms say if a claim fails, you withdraw or the airline pays you

AirAdvisor's price list promises a completely free service if no compensation is won, and its terms set out what is owed if you withdraw or the airline pays you directly.

Its terms are dated 14 October 2017 and amended 13 April 2021 and 1 September 2022, and governed by Delaware law for AirAdvisor International Inc. or Polish law for Air Advisor sp. z o.o. (8.3). Why a claim company's promise on a lost case matters more than its headline fee is explained in no win, no fee flight compensation, explained.

How an AirAdvisor claim runs, and how long it takes

AirAdvisor takes a signed authorisation, handles the airline directly, and says a claim usually takes up to 6 weeks, rising to about a year if litigation is needed.

Once submitted, the member "ceases all previous communication with the airline" and AirAdvisor pursues the claim in its place (5.1b). AirAdvisor says 72% of early submissions are paid faster than its usual 6 week mark; if the airline does not respond or rejects the claim, AirAdvisor may decide to litigate through a retained third party, at which point its fee becomes 50% of the compensation obtained, and the case can take up to a year (2.5). Payout follows within 30 days of AirAdvisor receiving correct bank details. How long claims take across the market, and why court cases take longest, is in how long a flight compensation claim takes.

What AirAdvisor's 98% success rate measures

AirAdvisor states a 98% success rate but does not say what the figure measures, unlike some of its rivals.

The figure appears on its home page beside a separate note that its statistics are "based on industry data: Eurocontrol Summer 2025, SITA 2025, and AirAdvisor January to April 2026", without tying that data to the 98% itself. "Usually, it takes up to 6 weeks" is a usual ceiling on time to acceptance, not an average time to payout. Among the ten claim companies scored on this rubric, Flightright, MYFLYRIGHT, RefundMore and Fairplane tie their rates to court cases; Compensair, Flight-Delayed.com, AirClaim, Skycop and EUclaim publish none.

What AirAdvisor reviews say

AirAdvisor holds 4.3 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 2,558 reviews, and no other platform gives it a usable second rating.

On the Trustpilot listing, 13% of reviews give one star and AirAdvisor has replied to 96% of negative reviews, typically within a week; the profile has been claimed since January 2018. A ProvenExpert profile carries no reviews at all. What review platforms can and cannot tell a buyer is set out in who reviews the reviewers.

Who AirAdvisor suits, and who it does not

AirAdvisor suits a passenger with a claim under EU, UK or Canadian rules who wants a flat, VAT-inclusive fee and a company that says it will cover court costs itself.

It suits less well a passenger who wants a stated basis for a success rate, or an owner named beyond its founder: AirAdvisor keeps about the same of a settled EUR 600 award as RefundMore, but its 50% court fee carries no VAT position either way, so the amount kept in court cannot be pinned down further. A passenger weighing whether to use a claim company at all, or claim directly, is served by claims companies against claiming yourself.
