Airelles is fifth of the twenty brands on our luxury hotel brand hierarchy, at 89 out of 100: nine hotels open, eight in France and one in Venice, with a tenth Maison, Le Guanahani in Saint-Barthélemy, opening 1 November 2026, run by LOV HOTEL COLLECTION, SAS and named on no page we opened to any individual owner or chief executive. This record is the evidence file behind that score. It sets out what Airelles publishes about itself, the MICHELIN Keys the MICHELIN Guide gives six of its hotels and the star it gives one of its restaurants, what could not be found, and where our own pages and Airelles's own figures disagree.

How Airelles scores: 89 out of 100

Airelles scores 89 out of 100, fifth of twenty brands: 21 of 25 for consistency across the portfolio, 19 of 20 each for rate band and service depth, 16 of 20 for privacy and scale, and 14 of 15 for food and drink. The points are the luxury hotel brand hierarchy's of 7 September 2026, carried unchanged; under each criterion is what we could read on 26 September 2026. The hierarchy names the owner as "Groupe Airelles (Stéphane Courbit)"; that name appears on no Airelles page we opened, which is why this record flags it below rather than changing the number.

Airelles publishes the company behind it, where that company is registered and which Maisons are open or opening. It publishes little else a guest could check before booking: no rates, no staff numbers, no named chief executive and no awards page. The MICHELIN Guide gives a Key to six of its nine open Maisons, Three each to Le Grand Contrôle, La Bastide and Airelles Palladio, Two to Château de la Messardière and One each to Val d'Isère and Courchevel; Pan deï Palais is listed without one. No Airelles hotel carries a Forbes Travel Guide rating that our reader could open, and only one of its restaurants, Ducasse au Château de Versailles, carries MICHELIN recognition of its own.

Who owns Airelles?

Airelles's legal notice names LOV HOTEL COLLECTION, SAS as the company behind it; no individual owner, chairman or chief executive is named on any Airelles page we opened.

The legal notice gives a capital of EUR 129,725,039 and RCS Paris registration 509 168 951, at 5 rue François 1er in Paris (map), and names the site's publication contact only as "Marketing Department." The commitments page refers to itself as "the LOV group" rather than any name built on "Airelles." Our luxury hotel brand hierarchy prints the owner as "Groupe Airelles (Stéphane Courbit)"; that name, and Stéphane Courbit, appear on no Airelles page we opened, so this record states the brand's own wording and flags the difference rather than resolving it.

How many hotels does Airelles have?

Airelles names ten Maisons on its own site: nine open, eight in France and one in Venice, plus Le Guanahani in Saint-Barthélemy, due to open 1 November 2026. Its careers page also gives nine as the current count. One of those nine, Les Airelles in Courchevel, is itself shown closed on its own page, marked "Reopening winter 2026," a seasonal closure of a ski hotel rather than a contradiction.

Airelles lists Le Guanahani, Saint-Barthélemy, opening under the Airelles name on 1 November 2026; the MICHELIN Guide's Saint-Barthélemy listing still names the same hotel "Rosewood Le Guanahani St. Barth," with Two Keys. Both are stated here as printed, with no inference drawn about a change of operator. How Airelles is rated: no Forbes rating, but MICHELIN Keys at six hotels

No Forbes Travel Guide rating was found for any Airelles hotel; the MICHELIN Guide gives a Key to six of its nine open Maisons, Three each to three of them.

Forbes Travel Guide pages for Le Grand Contrôle, Château de la Messardière, Les Airelles and La Bastide all redirected to its home page rather than opening a rating; no Airelles hotel carries a Forbes rating that our reader could open. One Airelles restaurant carries MICHELIN recognition of its own: Ducasse au Château de Versailles, at Le Grand Contrôle, holds One MICHELIN Star. Jardin Tropezina, the beach restaurant listed on Château de la Messardière's page, appears in the same guide with no star, and Airelles Val d'Isère runs a restaurant under chef Nobu Matsuhisa's Matsuhisa brand, with no MICHELIN recognition found on the page we opened.

How to book Airelles, and whether any perks come with it

Airelles runs no loyalty programme and prints no adviser or card-programme perk on any page we opened; it sells through its own site and reservations.

No Airelles page names a preferred-partner programme, American Express Fine Hotels + Resorts or Virtuoso participation, and none of the destination pages we opened prints a nightly rate outside the booking engine. Who Airelles suits, and who it does not

Airelles suits a traveller who wants a small, house-like Maison in Paris's region, Provence, the Riviera, Venice or the French Alps and will book without a published price; it suits less well anyone who wants a rate before enquiring, or status that carries to other hotels.

Airelles's home page calls its Maisons "much more than a collection of hotels," aiming for what it calls the spirit of "an elegant, cherished family home."
