So the index takes each operator's deepest single platform as the home sample, wherever it is, and then asks whether anything independent backs it up.

That second question is where most of the field falls down. Only Go2Africa, Yellow Zebra, Micato and Extraordinary Journeys have a second platform with a usable sample. Abercrombie & Kent, the largest company on the list by revenue, has 780 Trustpilot reviews and nothing else that is genuinely about the safari business.
