Cancelling a claim agreement: the questions people ask
Is cancelling within 14 days always free?
Not always: MYFLYRIGHT says an adequate amount is due if services have started in that period and Skycop says its work starting at once 'may impact' termination.
Can I cancel after 14 days?
At most companies, yes, but it can cost you: Flight-Delayed can charge its service fee, AviFly up to 15% plus VAT (30% after a lawsuit) and AirCashBack its expenses and a share of the fee. At Flightright and RefundMore the fee stays due if the airline pays; FlightCompensations lets you withdraw at any time unless it has recovered compensation.
Which of these companies have reviews on Trustpilot?
9 of the 12: AirCashBack, AirClaim, AviFly, Bott and Co, FairPlane, Flightright, MYFLYRIGHT, RefundMore and Skycop. Each card shows the rating, the number of reviews and the newest review date, read on the day shown.
Do these companies charge a fee if they win?
AirCashBack, AirClaim, AviFly, FairPlane, Flight-Delayed, FlightCompensations, Flightright, FlyClaims, MYFLYRIGHT, RefundMore and Skycop publish a fee figure on their own websites. Each card gives the fee as the company states it, with its conditions, such as VAT or a separate court fee. For Bott and Co, no fee figure was found on its website or its fee page would not open; ask before you sign.
Can I claim without a claims company?
Yes. You can claim from the airline directly and for free; in the UK or EU you can go on to the national enforcement body or an approved dispute scheme if the airline refuses. A claims company takes a share of the compensation for doing that work for you.
Where can I check these facts myself?
Each card links the pages of the company's own website its lines were read from, under Sources, with the date they were read.
How were these companies chosen?
Each one is a claims company in the Uncompromised Travel flight compensation table and its own website says how and within what time you can cancel the agreement. A company is on the page because its published facts fit the question, never because it paid.
Is any company on this page paying to be here?
No. No company on this page is a partner of Uncompromised Travel; none paid to be listed.
Built to answer the question in the main heading. What is shown: what each claims company published on its own website, read on 20 October 2026, with its Trustpilot rating where the profile carries the company's own name, from the Uncompromised Travel flight compensation table. Left out: companies whose websites would not open, a company whose activities were taken over by another, a company whose address opens another company's site and services that pass the claim to other companies.
