Which flight compensation companies charge under 30 percent?

By Richard Jasinski·Updated 3 November 2026

AviFly publishes the lowest standard fee of the claims companies on this page, 15% plus VAT if the claim settles without court, followed by FlyClaims at 20% including VAT and Flightright at 20% to 30% plus VAT. Several of the 11 add VAT on top, so the total can pass 30%.

Which flight compensation companies charge under 30 percent?

Ranked by the lowest standard success fee each company publishes, among the 11 whose lowest rate is under 30%. Check two things on each card: whether VAT is included or added and what the fee becomes if the claim goes to court.

On this page: AviFly, FlyClaims, Flightright, FairPlane, AirCashBack, ClaimFlights, MYFLYRIGHT, Reclamador, Refund Pilot, AirClaim and Compensation2Go.

Who is on this page and why. The Uncompromised Travel flight compensation table holds 33 companies: the claims companies ChatGPT names most when asked about flight compensation. Their own websites were read on 20 October 2026, with their Trustpilot profiles. This page carries the claims companies in the table whose own website publishes a standard success fee whose lowest rate is under 30% (before any VAT it adds on top; the card says which), in words that can be shown here: 11 companies. Cards are ranked by the lowest standard success fee each company publishes, the lowest first; where two are the same, by the highest rate, then alphabetically. A fixed fee per passenger is not a percentage, so FlightCompensations' €39 is not ranked. Fees are shown as each company publishes them, with their conditions. No company paid to be on this page.

Fees under 30 percent: the questions people ask

How is this ranking worked out?

By one figure: the lowest standard success fee each company publishes, lowest first. VAT and court surcharges are shown on each card but do not change the order.

Is a fee plus VAT under 30%?

Not always: Compensation2Go charges 29% plus VAT, 34.5% in all and ClaimFlights' 25% plus VAT is 29.75% for German residents.

Which of these companies have reviews on Trustpilot?

9 of the 11: AviFly, Flightright, FairPlane, AirCashBack, ClaimFlights, MYFLYRIGHT, Reclamador, AirClaim and Compensation2Go. Each card shows the rating, the number of reviews and the newest review date, read on the day shown.

Do these companies charge a fee if they win?

AviFly, FlyClaims, Flightright, FairPlane, AirCashBack, ClaimFlights, MYFLYRIGHT, Reclamador, Refund Pilot, AirClaim and Compensation2Go publish a fee figure on their own websites. Each card gives the fee as the company states it, with its conditions, such as VAT or a separate court fee.

Can I claim without a claims company?

Yes. You can claim from the airline directly and for free; in the UK or EU you can go on to the national enforcement body or an approved dispute scheme if the airline refuses. A claims company takes a share of the compensation for doing that work for you.

Where can I check these facts myself?

Each card links the pages of the company's own website its lines were read from, under Sources, with the date they were read.

How were these companies chosen?

Each one is a claims company in the Uncompromised Travel flight compensation table and its own website publishes a standard success fee whose lowest rate is under 30% (before any VAT it adds on top; the card says which). A company is on the page because its published facts fit the question, never because it paid.

Is any company on this page paying to be here?

No. No company on this page is a partner of Uncompromised Travel; none paid to be listed.

Built to answer the question in the main heading. What is shown: what each claims company published on its own website, read on 20 October 2026, with its Trustpilot rating where the profile carries the company's own name, from the Uncompromised Travel flight compensation table. Left out: companies whose websites would not open, a company whose activities were taken over by another, a company whose address opens another company's site and services that pass the claim to other companies. Cards are ranked by the lowest published standard success fee, lowest first. No company on this page is a partner of Uncompromised Travel. How this site earns · How we work.
