Kensington Tours designs privately guided, tailored trips. Its sample trip prices are in US dollars per person, double occupancy; they are subject to change. For land trips a 30% deposit is due at booking and the balance 90 days before departure; cruises and villas have their own terms.
The four sample trips read on its site run from $6,983 for the 9-day Essential Greece land trip to $16,890 for the 16-day North Cape and Coastal Fjords trip, which is a cruise under separate terms, in US dollars per person, double occupancy.

Worked out from the published prices, the 9-day Essential Greece trip comes to about $776 a day, the 12-day Big Five Safari and Zanzibar trip about $889 and the 9-day Best of Japan: Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka trip about $1,104. The 16-day North Cape and Coastal Fjords cruise comes to about $1,056, but as a cruise it is not like for like.

90 days before departure.
For trips without a cruise or villa, every cancellation carries a $350 per person administrative fee. At 90 days or more before departure you get the price back less that fee; 60 to 89 days loses the 30% deposit, 30 to 59 days costs 50% of the trip price and 29 days or less 100%, plus supplier fees.
Yes, for supplier cost increases, tariffs and taxes or exchange rate moves.
Its website does not say how payments are protected; no ATOL, ABTA, USTOA, bonding or trust account statement appears on the pages read. It does require travel insurance with at least USD$200,000 of medical, evacuation and repatriation cover.
Not always. On its New Zealand Signature trip, two internal flights, Rotorua to Christchurch and Christchurch to Queenstown, are not in the price and must be bought separately.
