By Richard J. · written from Valencia4 destinations · 8 providersVerified 5 October 2026

The cheapest 10 GB eSIM we have read in 2026 is Ubigi in Spain at $12, in the USA at $14 and in Europe at $15 among the major providers, and Nomad eSIM in Japan at $16 on sale, all for 30 days. This table prices one plan, 10 GB for 30 days, across four destinations and up to eight providers. Each price carries the date it was read and where. More countries are added as their plan pages are read.

Which travel eSIM is cheapest for 10 GB?

Europe: GoMoWorld at $12.99, then Ubigi at $15. Spain: Ubigi at $12. Japan: Nomad eSIM at $16 on sale. USA: Ubigi at $14.

How the table works. One plan only: 10 GB of data, valid for 30 days, priced in US dollars, for a new customer with no discount code. Each price is labelled with how it was read: on the provider's own plan page, on a listing site, or in a third party's published comparison. Holafly sells unlimited plans only and is not in the table. The readings are ours; the sources are linked.

The pattern is consistent. Ubigi is first or second in all four destinations. Airalo, the best-known name, is never the cheapest. And the gap between providers is widest on regional plans: $23 separates the cheapest and dearest Europe plan, against $3.99 for Spain.

Two cautions. The readings span about a month, and sale prices at Jetpac and Nomad eSIM move. And Europe plans do not all cover the same countries: check that the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Turkey are on the list if the trip includes them. The Europe eSIM guide covers what regional plans include.

Three providers sit within $2 of each other in Japan, so the network and the unlimited terms are better tie-breakers than price. The Japan eSIM guide covers networks and coverage.

What is the best travel eSIM for the USA at the lowest price?

Ubigi at $14, then Airalo at $22.50 and Kolet at $22.99. Nomad eSIM's and Saily's 10 GB prices for the USA have not been read, so they are absent and not ranked.

In the USA the network matters more than in most countries, because coverage differs sharply between operators outside the cities. Best eSIM for USA travel sets out which provider uses which network.

A single-country plan costs about half a Europe plan at the larger providers. For 10 GB over 30 days, Airalo charged $14 to $15.50 for Spain against $31 for Europe, and Saily $15.99 against $35.99. At Ubigi the gap is $3. If the whole trip is in one country, buy the country plan.

Three planning rules for buying on price

1 · Compare the same plan. Ten gigabytes for 30 days in the place you are going. Price per gigabyte on a 1 GB plan and on a 50 GB plan are not the same thing. The eSIM cost guide explains the pricing across plan sizes.

2 · Read the price on the day. Sale prices changed between our September and October readings: Jetpac's Europe plan was $22 on 5 October against the $19.99 its own blog quoted in June.

3 · Check the network named on the plan page. A plan that is $2 cheaper on a weaker network is not a saving. How to choose an eSIM sets out the order to check things in.

Because almost every provider sells it, so it is the fairest like-for-like test. A 7-day price against a 30-day price tells you nothing. Ten gigabytes covers maps, messages, browsing and some video for a two-week trip for most people.

Is the cheapest eSIM the best one?

Not always. The network a plan connects to decides coverage and speed, and sale prices move from week to week. Ubigi, the cheapest in three of the four destinations here, also scored highest in our September 2026 comparison, at 89 out of 100, so in this case price and quality agree.
