What Is the Best Flight Compensation App? Which Claims Companies Have One, and What It Does

By Richard Jasinski·Updated 15 October 2026

AirHelp's is the only app among the six claims companies ChatGPT names most: 4.7 on the App Store and 4.7 from about 11,300 reviews on Google Play. It tracks your flights, finds them in your calendar or Gmail and files claims at 35% including VAT, or free for AirHelp+ members. Flightright, AirAdvisor, Skycop and Compensair take claims on their websites. This page gives no score; every rating is the store's own, read on 15 October 2026.

Who is on this page, and why

We searched the App Store and Google Play on 15 October 2026 for the six claims companies ChatGPT names most for flight compensation: AirHelp, Flightright, AirAdvisor, Skycop, ClaimCompass and Compensair. In our daily ChatGPT readings to 15 October 2026, AirHelp was named first for "What is the best flight compensation app?". Only AirHelp has an app. ClaimCompass's site now opens AirHelp's. Not finding an app in a store search is not proof none exists, so ask the company if it matters to you. This page gives no score.

Do you need an app to claim?

No. Every company on this page takes claims on its website, and the airline's own claim form is free. An app helps before anything goes wrong: it logs your flights, sends delay alerts and keeps the scheduled and actual times a claim needs. After a disruption, the evidence is the same however you file: booking reference, boarding passes, arrival time and the reason the airline gave. Our membership page compares AirHelp+ and Skycop Care, which waive the claim fee.

Who to contact first

  • You want flights tracked and claims in one app: the AirHelp app.
  • You want a lower fee and do not mind a website: Flightright (usually 20 to 30% plus VAT).
  • Your claim is simple: the airline, free.
