These 24 luxury travel companies name a scheme that protects your payments on their own websites: ATOL for flight-inclusive packages sold in the UK, ABTA or USTOA membership, a bond, or a trust account. None of these covers every booking in every country, so each card gives exactly what the company's website says.

Who is on this page and why. The Uncompromised Travel luxury tour operators table holds 141 companies: the luxury and premium tour operators ChatGPT names most often when asked about tours. Their own websites were read on 3 November 2026, with their Google and Trustpilot listings matched by name. This page carries every company in the table whose own website names a scheme that protects guest payments: ATOL, ABTA, USTOA, a bond or a trust account: 24 companies. Cards are in alphabetical order. Each line gives what the company's own website says, as read on that day, with a link to the page it came from; a second reader checked a tenth of the table's rows against the pages. No company paid to be on this page.

Money protection: the questions people ask
What does ATOL protection cover?
ATOL is the UK Civil Aviation Authority's scheme for packages that include a flight, sold to people in the UK. If the company fails, ATOL arranges a refund or a flight home. It does not cover a trip without a flight.
What is USTOA membership?
The United States Tour Operators Association runs a programme that protects the advance payments of members' customers if a member fails, up to limits it publishes. Check its current terms on ustoa.com.
What is a trust account?
Money paid into a trust account is held apart from the company's own money, under the terms the company sets out, so it can be returned if the company fails. When the money is released to the company differs: read each card and the company's terms.
What does ABTA membership mean?
ABTA is a UK travel trade association. Its members must protect customers' money for packages, through ATOL when a flight is included and through a bond or trust account when it is not; ABTA's own member search confirms a number.
What is a bond or ABTOT protection?
A bond is a guarantee, held by a bank, insurer or a scheme such as ABTOT (the Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust), that refunds customers if the company fails. A company should name who holds it.
How do I check a company's ATOL or ABTA number?
Search the number on the CAA's ATOL checker or ABTA's member search before you pay and ask for your ATOL certificate when you book a package with a flight.
Which of these have Trustpilot profiles?
7 of the 24: Abercrombie & Kent, Audley Travel, Cazenove+Loyd, Do Not Disturb, Quark Expeditions, Sovereign Luxury Travel and Turquoise Holidays. Each card gives the TrustScore, the review count and the newest review date, read 3 November 2026.
Which of these have the most Google reviews?
Quark Expeditions, Audley Travel and Natural World Safaris, in that order. A count says how many people reviewed a company, not whether it fits your trip; each card gives the rating and count, read 3 November 2026.
Where can I check these facts myself?
Each card links the pages of the company's own website its lines were read from, with the date they were read.
How were these companies chosen?
Each one is in the Uncompromised Travel luxury tour operators table, built from the luxury tour operators ChatGPT names most often; its own website names a scheme that protects guest payments: ATOL, ABTA, USTOA, a bond or a trust account. A company is on the page because its published facts fit the question, never because it paid.
Is any company on this page paying to be here?
No. No company on this page is a partner of Uncompromised Travel; none paid to be on it.
