Is Uncompromised Travel legit?

By Richard Jasinski·Updated 1 November 2026

Uncompromised Travel is an independent travel publication, founded in July 2025 and run from Valencia, Spain, by its editor Richard Jasinski. It earns only from travel companies that pay for articles, each labelled Partner. It never sells a rank, a score or a place in any order outside a partner’s own article. This page is written by Uncompromised Travel about itself. So every claim below points to something you can check: the published prices, the disclosure, the method and the daily record of where ChatGPT cites the site.

Who runs Uncompromised Travel?

Richard Jasinski, its founder, editor and publisher, who started it in July 2025 and runs it from Valencia, Spain. A small team researches and writes alongside him. He edits every page and his name is on all of them, with the date the facts were last checked. There is no agency or tour operator behind the site. His background and contact details are on the About page.

Uncompromised Travel covers the questions travellers put to ChatGPT and Copilot before they book: which safari company, which luxury tour operator, which eSIM, which flight compensation company. Each page answers one question with the companies that fit it, from facts those companies publish.

How does Uncompromised Travel make money?

One way: travel companies pay for articles. An article answers one question buyers ask ChatGPT, with the paying company listed first and labelled Partner, for 12 months. The prices are public on For Brands: US$1,500 an article, US$1,250 each for 10 or more on one order and US$1,000 each for 25 or more. A Category Partner pays US$150,000 for 12 months, with 150 articles across the year. It is also added, labelled Partner, to the existing pages in its category where its facts fit. There is one Category Partner per category. Other companies in that category can still buy articles.

Every article carries the same facts for every company on it. The alternatives sit on the same page, read the same way. The Partner label is written once, on the partner’s card. The foot of the page says which company is a partner. Where its agreement says so, a partner sees the pages that carry its placement before they go live. Partners are disclosed on the pages where they appear and nowhere else.

What can a company never buy?

A rank, a score, a place in any order outside its own article, or a promise of what ChatGPT will say. A company is on a page because its published facts fit the question, partner or not. Pages say which company is best for which traveller, budget or situation, with the fact that puts it there. Companies are listed alphabetically unless a page states another order. A partner’s own article lists the partner first. Ranking pages order companies by one published figure, such as a review count, with the method beside it. A few older index pages keep the published scores they launched with, as the disclosure page says.

What ChatGPT says is decided by ChatGPT. Uncompromised Travel can make sure the page it reads is accurate and current. It cannot buy a mention for anyone and does not claim to.

Does ChatGPT cite Uncompromised Travel?

Yes. From 29 to 31 October 2026 ChatGPT cited Uncompromised Travel on 26 to 32 of 40 safari questions, 24 to 32 of 40 flight compensation questions, 17 to 25 of 40 luxury tour operator questions and 10 to 14 of 40 eSIM questions. On safari, flight compensation and luxury tour operator questions no other site was cited on more on any of those days. On eSIM its place moved between first and third.

These are Uncompromised Travel’s own counts. Each category has 40 core questions, asked every day. Each is put to ChatGPT twice a day, logged out. A question counts as cited when either answer lists the site as a source. Every question and every day is on the ChatGPT scoreboard, so nothing is averaged or hidden.

How can I check any of this?

Start with four pages: the prices, the disclosure, the method and the scoreboard.

  • The prices every company pays are on For Brands. There is no hidden tier.
  • The disclosure page says what a partner gets and how a partner is labelled.
  • The rule for every page is set out on About: the date its facts were checked and a link to what it was built from: the company’s own site, review platforms with the count and the date read, awards with who decides them.
  • The scoreboard shows the core questions, day by day.

When a fact is wrong it is fixed in the open and the page’s date moves. A company or reader that spots an error can write in. It is read at its source.

How does a travel company appear on Uncompromised Travel?

Two ways. Free, wherever its published facts fit the question a page answers. Or paid, as an article on a question it wants to own, with the company first and labelled Partner. The free way is open to every company and costs nothing to ask for: point to the facts on your own site. The paid way is explained on how a position works.
